We shared a delicious prawn open sandwich because we called late on a Sunday afternoon. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed sitting in the bar and watching the comings and goings. Food was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
We went for dinner and had the most delicious meal we have had in a while. The flavours in every bite were so good. This is high end food. Don't go expecting typical pub portions, the portions are smaller but this enables you to comfortably have a 3 course meal, which I would thoroughly recommend, we enjoyed it so much we asked if we could book in for afternoon tea the next day. This didn't disappoint either. It wasn't a traditional afternoon tea, no simple sandwiches but it was much more delicious. This chef is hitting all the right spots with their ideas and flavours. Would definitely visit again
A little gem, nestled in the heart of the Dale's. From the warm Yorkshire welcome and relaxed atmosphere to the lux rooms, a fabulous exsperance from start to finish. Described as a restaurant with rooms, the evening menu was the star of the show. Beautifully presented, sophisticated with well-balanced favours. Simply delicious. Highly recommend.
