Disappointing Experience – Completely Unacceptable Service I had one of the most unpleasant experiences at a hotel in Dubai during my recent visit to Grayton Hotel. The front office staff, particularly a lady on duty on August 3, 2025, demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic hospitality etiquette. From the moment we arrived, she displayed a rude and dismissive attitude. My friend had only a soft copy of their ID, and instead of calmly explaining the hotel’s policy or assisting us with alternative solutions, she raised her voice and behaved in an unnecessarily aggressive manner. There was absolutely no attempt to welcome us or handle the situation with grace—which should be the bare minimum standard in a reputed hospitality establishment. To make matters worse, despite the 45°C heat, when we politely requested a glass of water while waiting at the reception, we were told flatly that the hotel doesn’t provide water—something I find both shocking and unacceptable for a hotel of this scale in a city like Dubai. When I asked for the staff member’s name to raise a complaint, I was bluntly refused, which only deepens the concern. Refusing to identify oneself in a customer service role raises serious questions about accountability and transparency. I sincerely urge the management of Grayton Hotel to review this incident and ensure that your staff, especially those representing the face of your brand at the front desk, are trained in basic hospitality conduct, emotional intelligence, and customer service. Such behavior not only damages your reputation but also severely undermines the values of Dubai’s global hospitality standards. This incident has left a lasting negative impression, and unless addressed, I believe it could reflect poorly on the otherwise promising image of the property
A Shameful Experience – Shocked by the Staff's Behavior Staying at Grayton Hotel turned out to be a complete letdown. After two nights, we simply extended our stay—and that’s when things went downhill fast. The front desk, led by an Arabic-speaking lady, was beyond rude. No smile, no welcome, no professionalism. When we presented a soft copy of ID for the extension, she refused it outright and spoke to us with an unacceptable tone—as if we were asking a favor, not paying guests. In 45°C heat, we requested water while waiting. The response? “We don’t provide water.” Seriously? In Dubai? That’s inhumane. Even worse, she refused to give her name when we asked to file a complaint. What kind of hotel allows anonymous, unchecked staff at the front desk? This wasn’t just bad service. It was blatant disrespect, a total failure in basic hospitality, and a stain on the name of this property. If this is how Grayton Hotel treats its guests, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
I recently stayed at Grayton by Blazon, and it was truly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, nothing seemed to be in order. The staff was unprofessional and uninterested in helping with even basic requests. The room was in poor condition—unclean, with stains on the bedding, a bad odor, and a bathroom that clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. Noise levels were unbearable, and despite several complaints, no action was taken. The air conditioning barely worked, and amenities listed online were either broken or completely unavailable. What made things worse was the attitude of the management—zero accountability, no apology, and no resolution. This hotel is absolutely not worth the money. I would not recommend Grayton by Blazon to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere—somewhere that actually values its guests and maintains basic hospitality standards.
