Lovely hotel by the sea. It is in a wonderful location, great views and is walking distance to the sea. The rooms are spacey and super clean, bathroom very comfortable. We loved sleeping there, super comfortable bed and pillows. The only thing was that the shower has no curtain, so in order to avoid a massive flood, we figured out not to open the tap all the way, just half way. Breakfast was incredible, with loads of options for everyone. The omelette lady was our favourite. Super kind and friendly and her omelettes were the BEST. Unfortunately, like many hotels, there was not enough sun beds to place your towel, so we had to get up at 7 to reserve one. However, there is a municipal beach next door with the possibility to rent sun beds and umbrellas at a decent price . The hotel has many facilities: gym, spa, indoor pool and activities every day. Our super favourite was the pottery one, where we could make our own piece but also got a more professional one made with a pottery wheel (and the help of a lovely potter). There are restaurants and bars, including a nice rooftop one which sells hamburgers. We loved it. The hotel is walking distance from the love bridge and is near many dining places and shopping possibilities, including a supermarket. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be very sad to leave.
I got married at this hotel 18 years ago and had the most amazing time. We are planning to renew our vows there in 2027 so I hope they still do weddings. The hotel was excellent, from the food and service to the friendly and helpful staff. Everyone still says it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Thank you Grecian Sands Hotel and apologies that it has taken so long to leave you a review. See you in 2027!
Excellent 4 star hotel. Our sea view room had a massive picture window looking straight out to the sea. The balcony was a reasonable size with a table and two chairs and stunning views. The food was good. The location is even better. 1 min from a great beach. Lovely grounds around the pool. And a clifftop pathway if you want a stroll.
