Grecotel Egnatia

Our stay at Grecotel Egnatia Hotel in Alexandroupoli during Easter was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home throughout our visit. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering stunning views of the sea and easy access to the city’s charming attractions. We loved taking strolls along the waterfront and exploring the local shops and restaurants, which were all within walking distance. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable. The bed was especially cozy, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast served each morning was a delicious spread of local delicacies, and we couldn’t resist trying everything! During Easter, the atmosphere at the hotel was truly special. We had the opportunity to experience some traditional Greek Easter celebrations, which made our stay even more memorable. The hotel’s team organized a lovely Easter brunch, complete with lamb and other local specialties, and we enjoyed joining in on the festive spirit. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Grecotel Egnatia Hotel provided the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and authentic Greek charm. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Alexandroupoli, and we look forward to returning in the future!

Don't be fooled by the glamorous picture of the place or the food image I posted. The facility is unmaintained. The pool is DIRTY BEHIND ANY IMAGINABLE STANDARD, and probably a health hazard just to put your toes in. The food is ABSOLUTELY TASTELESS and sometimes UNEDIBLE AT ALL. exception for the salads that are kind of good. The beach IS NOT CLEAN AT ALL, they left the seagull make the cleaning and the only thing they are VERY worried/pushy about, is to CHARGE YOU FOR ALL. Even a bottle of water is 3.90 EURO (not even included in the HALF BOARD!!! SHAME ON YOU!). For now, the WORST place in Greece i ever been. Surely to put a GIANT CROSS of NO NO on this hotel (4 stars but more like 2-3ish)

Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a good feature other than its location. Old rooms and have an unpleasant smell. Photos show the situation after room cleaning. They didn't even collect the glasses. The money given is never deserved.
