Grecotel La Riviera at Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park

Possibly my favourite place on earth for a truly relaxing break. The location is fantastic, secluded set right on the sandy beach. The staff are the friendliest I have comae across. Most of them are the same every year we come here ie they are regulars and not just summer hires. The food is outstanding whether from the buffet or the a la carte restaurant. If you are looking for an adventure holiday or a sight seeing vacation this is probably not the place for you but if you are just looking to relax on the beach or by the pool then it doesn’t get much better than this. If you have young/small kids or grandchildren (that’s us :)) then quite honestly it’s a perfect choice.

Luxury hotel, truly breathtaking when you first see it. Excellent facilities, very tasteful food, amazing views. Very nice waterpark and playroom for kids, with noble efforts in terms of activities to keep them entertained. You can use a wealth of pools and restaurants at both Riviera and Oasis. Perhaps only drawbacks include the long distances if you want to move from one hotel area to the next, due to the sheer size of the resort(s). And that after 3 days you can feel like groundhog day, as there are few other places to visit nearby during an evening. But going to such a resort area, one should be conscious that you are not embarking on a sightseeing holiday, instead you have everything offered within. Did not like the fact that when you have paid for half board, a 5* resort could at least offer a bottle of water and one soft drink for free during dinner, as opposed to having to pay for them.

Breakfast at 10am?! 30min wait for a table 5. Wifi is a slow everywhere Still reading?! The view is great. The majority of the staff is also great, friendly and very helpful.
