Grecotel Meli Palace

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Grecotel Meli Palace! Everything was perfect – from the beautiful surroundings and well-kept gardens to the top-notch service and incredibly friendly staff. The food was delicious and varied every day, with something for every taste. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The private beach was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. We truly felt pampered throughout our entire stay. We will definitely come back and highly recommend Grecotel Meli Palace to anyone looking for a high-quality, relaxing vacation in Crete. Great hotel with very nice staff the are working hard to make it for you a great holiday. The beach and swimming pools are very nice and clean. The eating is really great there is so much to choose unbelievable. The drinks and specially the cocktails are so good made that you can order them all day. The rooms are not really special but everything what you need is there the can update 1 time the bathroom because that's look really old and not nice! It's a small hotel with 150 rooms so it's not too much people what we liked really much. We gonna go back there for sure no doubt about that.

Stayed at this resort recently and overall had a good experience. The rooms are comfortable but definitely in need of refurbishment—they could use a refresh. Housekeeping is excellent, keeping everything clean and well-stocked. The food is outstanding—plenty of variety, always fresh, and far better than what you usually find in holiday resorts. Easily 5 stars for the food alone. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially the ladies at reception who are lovely and professional. Unfortunately, the male reception staff could be more attentive—they sometimes act more like owners than employees. One downside: no proper facilities for late check-out. If your flight is at night, there’s nowhere to shower or rest, which is a big letdown. This place is perfect for families—lots of kids running around, playing, and making noise. If you’re after peace and quiet, this isn’t the place. But if you’re looking for a fun, family-oriented holiday, it’s a great choice.
