Green Anka Hotel

One wonderful experience that my family and I had with our first visit to Istanbul was our accommodation at the Green Anka Hotel. Communication with the hotel was easy and everything that was agreed upon was respected. The location of the hotel is great because it is close to the tram and bus stop from which you can reach all the necessary locations. The staff was always friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were cleaned regularly. All in all, a great recommendation from us and if there is another opportunity to visit Istanbul, our first choice. Absolutely loved the presence of this hotel. The rooms are perfect cleaned every day and even a top up free supply of water bottles. The staff were very helpful even out of hours they provided the necessities that I needed for example hot water for my pot noodle lol. I didn’t find any language barriers when speaking to the staff, even if there was they were someone there on hand to speak . Outside the hotel, you had everything on your doorstep, restaurants supermarkets transport, even a local mosque. Will definitely be staying here again if we go to Istanbul.

In my 20 years visiting Istanbul we never staid in hotel this bad. Poorly maintained. Stainy sheets and towels. Moldy bathtub. Broken furniture. The only good thing was the breakfast.
