Green Gables Motel

Room was very clean and very cosy. The air-conditioner worked a beauty. Parking right at door which we loved. 10 minute walk to rsl for dinner and a snooker comp.

This is a really lovely motel, very clean, walked in through door and smelt fresh n clean, plenty of room well set out, this will be a place I will always come to, off Hyway so very quiet 👍👍👍👍

First impression on arrival at motel was grubby. Checked room before paying. As we arrived late and only needed somewhere to put our head down for 1 night it was satisfactory. The room was generally clean, bed was comfy with crisp white linen. Very dated and needs updating. No fire alarm (smoke detector in room) although the vacant plate for it was still visible on the ceiling. Bathroom has been updated at some stage but needs attention to door/drawer handles, no water pressure in shower. No milk in fridge for a cuppa. Compendium states office hours on a Sunday are 7am to 7pm, after phoning reception, walking up to reception and dialing mobile number near office door I was advised office does not open till 9am. I think new owners have just moved in and not updated anything. Owners were polite and friendly but this motel needs a lot of updating and tidying up
