Green Life Bansko

Took two time break in our way to Greece and back home. Nice and cleam room. Excelent breakfast. First time was buffet service, second time we pick from menu due the lack of guests. Spa included.

I had the most fantastic time in Green Life Bansko. I got a bit scared about what to expect after reading the reviews on trip advisor. So when we arrived I was pleasantly suprised! The room was clean and very nice, exactly what you would expect of a 4 star hotel. The reception people were very friendly and helpful even tho I was asking a tone of probably stupid questions, always willing to help no matter the matter with a smile on their face. The staff for the resturant and bar were fantastic extremely friendly and helpful! By the end of our stay we had befriended them and even had a running joke haha. They even opened the lobby bar for us half an hour early on our departure day, so we can have coffe before our driver picked us up! You can tell these folks really love their work there and care for their guests! On a side note only thing that I found a bit disappointing was the lack of AC but to be honest it's understandable because it's a ski resort and well summers there didn't used to get warm. So I can't be too mad about it. Opening the windows does wonders, so it's not too bad! Over all I had a fantastic time! I wouldn't listen to the reviews that complained about the staff, because it's just not true. Please respect the staff, they are great people and don't forget your service will as good as you treat them 😉!

ROOM: The room we stayed in seemed old with some small damages but it was spacious, warm and fully equipped even if someone wanted to make food in the room. It came along with a rich breakfast buffet and spa amenities. POOL AND SPA: The pool was kinda small and not really warm but there were 4 different sauna rooms that served different purposes which were pretty enjoyable. The jacuzzi was inside the pool so not very warm as well. The whole pool-spa space was not too big so if you go on high season you might find it difficult to relax. HOTEL: The hotel itself is 15 minutes away on foot from the gondola but it offers a shuttle bus which is on time every 30'. Service generally good and overall a good deal!! SKI RENTAL: We rented out skis from the hotel and it was the best deal we found in the city. The skies were top quality and very good deal for what we paid for them. Its really convenient because you can leave your shoes and come back after skiing to get back to your room KIDS: We don't have kids but there was also a kids area where you could leave the kids with toys and someone to watch over them which I guess is a good deal for families and parents that want some relaxing time.
