Green World Hotel Zhonghua

End of May 2025, we stayed in this hotel as a couple. Very pleasant stay. The lift to MRT is right next to the hotel. During our 5 days trip to Taipei, we experienced rain drizzling for 4 days almost whole day. But with the lift next door, we managed to get into MRT station without getting wet. During our check-out also, it was very easy to bring our heavy luggage to the Ximen MRT station The Ximending walking street also is just opposite the hotel which is like 3-5min walking. There is also 7 eleven below the hotel. There is also a bus stop across the street. Location wise very strategic and convenient. Our room was on 15th floor, small room with basic amenities. Suitable for travelers that only use the room for bathing and sleeping. The Lobby is at 13th floor and the staffs are very helpful. We requested for extra pillow and they asked us to collect from 13th floor lobby. Everyday the room was cleaned upon request. Towels and new water bottle replaced everyday. On our last day, we had to check out at 11am but our flight was only at 11.30pm. Hence, they allow us to store our luggage at their Breakfast area meanwhile we go to Beitou. When we were back to collect the luggage they also offered the breakfast space to repack the bags if required and to use the washroom at the lobby without hesitation. There is a Weighing machine at Lobby. Overall, our stay was really good. Happy with the accommodation and amenities provided.

I stayed here for one night. It is within walking distance of Taipei Station. The hotel staff were polite and kind, and some of them spoke English and Japanese, which was helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The shower had good water pressure and the only problem was that the drainage was a little poor. Two bottles of water are provided, but there are no amenities such as toothbrushes, so you will need to bring your own. It was also very helpful to be able to store my luggage before and after check-in. There are many convenience stores, massage parlours and restaurants nearby, which was convenient. It was a nice hotel.

HORRIBLE. I was scammed & I will help any future travelers. Sorry for the long review, but its a service to future tourists to avoid this scam of a place. 1. IT IS NOT A HOTEL. They booked few floors on top a building to make shift hotel, other floors are used by Justsleep group with common lift (old terrible style) and any random person can go to your room with zero security. 2, The staff is extremely rude, when asking about early check in of 30 mins it was not allowed, check in being at 3pm and check out at 11am. 3. I was provided wrong room, they call it connected rooms but its two separate room with separate access card with a common passage with a CCTV camera on there, even after cleaning the hotel staff keeps the outside door open giving full access or random people to your rooms. Its a HORRIBLE scam. The corridor always contains electric line room with its door open, broken floor from where u can drop and die (Yes its 110% true). 4. They do not clean rooms on a daily basis, and don't provide toiletries. It insanely dirty with hairs all around. The hot water in bathroom works after 20 mins or so. 5. The breakfast is a hell show, there is almost nothing to eat. When you ask for basics like eggs or cereals they make faces. You are supposed to clean the table & put the dishes back. 6. The AC cannot be controlled, the TV flashes green light whole night and surely none of this is fixed or even bothered by the reception staff. This is not a hotel its a scam. And SHAME on Trip.com to allow such a hotel in their portal.
