This is a beautiful, rural location, off the beaten track, where you can enjoy a tranquil break. Close enough fantastic coastline attractions, but not too close. The morning view over the local Upper Tamar Lake is very pretty, and the locality is well worth taking time to explore. Our cottage was spotlessly clean and cosy. It had everything we needed for a peaceful and chilled holiday. We were made to feel very welcome by our host. The enclosed field for exercising our dog was an added bonus. Yes, we would thoroughly recommend it here.

We’ve stayed at Brexworthy twice now, last time in Honeybee which was gorgeous. However this time was just the best holiday ever as weather was beautiful. Stayed in the Wagtail which was lovely and clean and comfortable. Use of washing machine and tumble dryer - only a pound to use in a “trust” jar. Lesley and Darren are the best hosts ever, so friendly and generous. Dog friendly but always clean. We will always try to stay here now whenever we visit Devon/Cornwall as so central and easy to get anywhere. Good local pub down the road which does good food. Great all round.

Lovely holiday cottages on a working farm. Deep in the countryside yet only about 7 miles from Bude and the seaside. Owners Lesley and Darren live on site and make every effort to ensure stay is comfortable. Pet friendly with a secure dog exercise field on site. Well recommended
