Greenwood Suites Resort

We’ve just returned from a fantastic seven-day holiday in Turkey, staying at the Greenwood Suites Resort in Lara Beach, and we had a truly wonderful time. The resort itself is lovely—modern, clean, and well-maintained. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The food was another highlight. There was a great variety at the main restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. Staff were attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. In addition to the main dining area, there are several snack bars around the resort serving drinks and light bites throughout the day, which was perfect for keeping the kids going between meals. Speaking of kids—the pools and aqua park were a big hit with our children! They spent hours on the slides and in the water, and it was lovely to see them having such a great time. The beach is about a 20-minute walk from the resort, but Greenwood Suites offers a free shuttle service that runs regularly throughout the day. They also have a dedicated food and drink stall at the beach, which was a nice touch and made the beach experience even more enjoyable. All in all, we had a great week and made some lovely memories. I’d definitely recommend Greenwood Suites Resort to anyone planning a trip to the Lara Beach area—especially families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Amazing Experience at Greenwood Resort! I recently stayed at Greenwood Resort in Antalya, Turkey, and I had a fantastic time! The resort itself is beautiful, with clean facilities, a lovely pool area, and access to a private beach, but what really made the experience unforgettable was the Entertainment Team. They are absolutely amazing — super friendly, full of energy, and truly passionate about what they do. Every day, they organized a variety of fun activities for both kids and adults, from pool games and fitness classes to evening shows and dance parties. You can really tell they put their heart into making sure everyone is having a great time. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or as a couple, the entertainment team will definitely make your stay more enjoyable. They go above and beyond to create a lively, fun, and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend Greenwood Resort if you’re looking for relaxation, good vibes, and lots of fun!

The hotel itself was great. The rooms were large with a fridge freezer, washing machine and cooker (didn't use). It was clean throughout and Staff was seen cleaning the toilets and outside areas frequently. The staff were friendly and helpful. Always greeting you with a smile. My teenagers made friends with the ice cream man and a couple bar staff. The pools and aqua park are spacious with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Evening entertainment was okay. The main guy was funny and a great piano player. On site shops were reasonably priced. Food was okay but I feel there could have been more of a variety, fruit options were basic. Unfortunately they don't cater well for those with dairy allergies. The only alternative option for milk was almond milk which isn't great and it's expensive to buy in the supermarket. Food choices themselves weren't many dairy free options (even the rice has butter in it) no dairy free ice cream available, only choice was an ice lolly again not great. The beach area..... It was a shambles. We went once and didn't go back down. It was very small with an eating area which provided lunch. The whole area was very uninviting. Strong smell of drainage. Tables and chairs were dirty and needed a good scrub. Overgrown grass along the walk way made it look untidy. There was a shuttle service to and from the beach. The driver that day was smoking in the kitchen area where food was prepared speaking with the chef. He was witnessed using a sink as an ashtray (we did report it to the hotel guest relations) We frequently visit Lara beach area and have stayed at multiple hotels. For what we paid I was disappointed with what was offered. We have paid less to stay at other hotels and got more and of higher standard.
