Giant house converted into a small hotel (7 rooms I believe) as you would hope for in a place like this the decor and service feels like it is from another time. While it is more expensive than the generic hotels in the area, it makes up for it in old world style.
On our way from Montreal to North Bay we decided to stay at this wonderful inn. Lynn was super helpful and sweet for the duration of our stay and the room was exactly as advertised (we stayed in the Majestic). The bathroom was beautiful and everything was clean and comfy. Well kitted out and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast isn’t included but what you pay for is really great value! We look forward to staying here again soon!
We went to go book a room and go to The Pantry Bistro for dinner. Called the number on the website a number of times. No answer and voicemail was full. Attempted to book online, unable to. Phone number to restaurant was ‘unassigned’. We even went inside the front door and waited, and waited. No one came to the door. (There’s an alarm). We didn’t go any further than the front desk as we felt it wasn’t the thing we should do. Very disappointing.
