We had a meal in Palm Court. Our waiter Frazer was absolutely excellent. He was so courteous and kind and nothing was too much trouble. He communicated well with us and kept us informed when the food was on its way so those who ordered the Sunday carvery could go up and get their food so we would all have our food at the same time. We were never rushed and we had a fabulous time there. Would definitely go back again.
Our stay has been absolutely amazing from start to finish! Great comfy beds and lovely staff who literally couldn’t do more to help. The ladies on reception have been 10/10, the food has been 10/10. Loved our time in the spa and relaxation areas. To say it is a pet friendly hotel, the cleanliness has been exceptional and the staff have been great with the dog. There has been live music throughout our stay whilst eating. They also do wedding events and from looking at the guests who have been coming and going for the day/night all look like they have had an amazing time. Phone signal lets it down for the location however free WiFi has been more than good enough. Will definitely be coming back and couldn’t recommend more if you are looking for a pet friendly stay!
Attended a wedding at the hotel and stayed over. My husband is coeliac so needs gluten free food, the staff were brilliant at catering for him both at the wedding and at breakfast, the breakfast waitress advised what hot food was safe and offered to bring out gluten free cereal and toast, a good selection was offered, but no pastries which for the price would be a nice addition. Have to say the tea bags they use in the breakfast tea pots are awful, have never had such a poor cup of tea. At the wedding we were given clear instructions of who to take food from and an individual plate was made up for him for the evening buffet with similar offerings to the buffet. Room was reasonable, no fridge/mini bar which is always a bit of a let down and some areas where cleanliness could have been better.
