Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa

This hotel has exceeded our expectations! The room was spotless with a beautiful view, all the staff are friendly and helpful. Loads of sunbeds no sunbed wars here!! Great location close to everything but ultimately very peaceful at nighttime! We would definitely be returning! Thank you 😊

Great hotel with excellent pool areas. Spa and gym is great. Rooftop bar is probably the best in the area. Amazing views of the surrounding beach and mountains. Canteen is okay, bit manic (July). Prefer to visit the many restaurants and bars just a few metres away. Staff all lovely in our experience. Air con is hit and miss in the rooms. Our apartment room had good cooling in the living area but the bedroom was poor. I ended up sleeping in the living room! 🤣 They also have an ant problem. Our room had a good few unwelcome guests and a few bites on hand. Even worse ant problems in the kids park as it’s surrounded by grass and sand. Nothing crazy though just noticeable. I’d come back here for sure. 👍🏻

Very Disappointing Stay We were very disappointed with our stay. Many things were not as described. The restaurant had dirty plates, the hallway was old and damaged, with decorations coming off because of moisture. The shower gel in the bathroom was empty. We were promised a beautiful garden view, but instead our window faced a trash area with old mattresses, broken chairs, and other garbage. The bathroom door was semi-transparent and didn’t block any light or sound. If one person got up early and used the bathroom, the other couldn’t sleep. There was no privacy at all. The hallway door also let in a lot of noise. There was no reserved parking, and it was very hard to find a space — and this was already mid-June, not even high season. The only good thing: the bed was comfortable, and the hotel offers some activities. --- After the hotel response I attached a description of the room with garden views. It's not true that I didn't report this to the hotel—I did so on the very first day of arrival. I was told that "garden view" is not mentioned in the description. However, when I showed them the offer that clearly included it, they acknowledged my dissatisfaction but explained that, according to their system, the room overlooking the trash area is classified as a "garden view" room, and there’s nothing they can do about it.
