Just stayed for 4 nights in July. The hotel is a large complex over 2 sites with 3 pools. The rooms are large, clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and give you the feeling nothing is too much. You have to clear your room by 12 lunch time, as you would expect on the last day and we had a late flight out and they booked us a shower room for 6pm so we could change after the pool for dinner and get ready for our coach that evening. This hotel is clearly a family fun location, as a couple in our 60`s we are young at heart and don't mind having lots of little ones running around playing games and having a good time in the pool, having found it we will be bringing the grandchildren back, but if you want a relaxed, chill by the pool, read a book sort of holiday, as a couple, then it is probably not for you. Thanks for a great stay
Second year staying here. Hotel is very good. 3 outdoor swimming pools, 1 is a mini splash park for young kids. Lots of stuff for kids to do. Plenty of grass areas too. Food in the buffet restaurant is of decent quality for the amount of people they cater for. With varied theme nights mixing up the options. Only a couple of downsides. The evening entertainment is pretty poor. The kids one doesn’t really get them involved much and the following entertainment for adults is arguably worse. Secondly there’s probably not enough bar staff on during the day and night leading to long queues. Overall a very good family hotel.
I can't really understand all those 5/5 reviews. The hotel is a reasonable value for money, but there are some glaring issues. Beach is 20 minutes away, you can get there either by public transport ride (bus only goes once every hour), or a hotel's shuttle, which only works 5 days a week and only between 10:00 and 17:45. Rooms are dated, there is rust and mold everywhere. Cleaning of the rooms is... mostly decorative. They'll fold the sheets, but some sand on the floor might remain - there is no vacuuming. Swimming pools are open from 10:00 until 18:00. Your kid wakes up at 7 and you are done with breakfast by 8? Well, enjoy 2 hours of nothing. Food was okay for me personally, but choices for the little ones are somewhat limited. I understand it's difficult to feed a thousand of people at once, but still - about 20-30% of the "clean" forks and spoons had food remains from the last time, you have to check and discard dirty ones to be cleaned again. And it's a consistent problem, every day, every meal. Kids entertainment barely exists, I managed to have my 5yo have fun for 4 hours in a course of one full week stay. On paper, all the services are there. It's just every single one of them is optimized to be as cheap as possible, at the cost of convenience or availability. Everything works to a 70%. Shuttle works 70% of the days. 70% of the plates and forks are clean. Room is cleaned 70%. Pools are closed 30% of the daytime.
