Grupotel Mayorazgo

The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate and clean. The TV only has spanish channels but that's OK. The hotel is extremely central to metro and walking distance from many sites and sights. Lovely staff.

I have stayed here before. And, I really like this hotel . It is more like a boutique hotel. Not a super big hotel which I prefer. The rooms are not huge but well appointed and very clean. Some reviewers complain of thin walls… but this has not been my experience. A rather quiet hotel. Maybe I am just lucky. The location is outstanding on top of it. The front desk, housekeeping and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. I love the bar for a morning coffee and lite breakfast and as a place for a quiet night cap. It’s my go to hotel when I’m in Madrid. Keep up the great work, Hotel Mayorazgo.

Arrogant and rude reception staff. Booked double bed room, was given twin beds. Was told that I could change in the morning but when I asked in the morning they said we’re full and that I was the first person to ever have this problem. Was made to feel like I am stupid for even asking or having such a request. I would suggest getting new staff that aren’t belligerent and outright disgraceful to your hotel brand. Would not recommend.
