Grupotel Playa Club

Such a lovely family friendly apartment complex with hotel facilities. Rooms are very clean, but a bit dated. Two bed apartments over two floors. Grounds spotless. The pool is really large so always plenty of space to swim and play, and loungers always available (no need to get up early to reserve!) Fabulous service - the staff can’t do enough for you (thanks Ricardo!) Lots of younger families, many different nationalities. They organize volleyball and football. A very short 2 min walk to beach where you can rent paddle boards/kayaks etc. We loved snorkelling. Light hotel entertainment but quiet of an evening - bring cards/board games! Hotel breakfast is good, loved the fresh fruit. Nice tea selection. Dinner ok, not outstanding but definitely good enough and we ate out half the time for a change. Pool and table tennis. Good gym - bench press, cardio machines. Sauna and steam room. Indoor pool on colder days. Bus strikes while we stayed and taxis not easy to come by when it’s not sunny - we realised a car would have been useful. Local area a bit touristy - we had to hunt for good quality food that wasn’t pizza (Aquarium near harbour was our favourite restaurant for fresh fish). Best part of the hols was the people we met - the other lovely families we got to know. Everyone was soooo friendly! We’d definitely come back!

Wow, it's best hotel. We have 2 floors in the room. One floor it's just bathroom and bedroom and upstairs sitting room and balcony. From airport the bus service to pick up us from point-like office on left hand side. Was so great viewing on pool from balcony and from bedroom we seen road. So quet, 10 mints walking to beach, local pub and shoping centre. We taking breakfast included but dinner at hotel 25Euro-1 person-1 day and at local restaurant 2 pizza +drinks about 40Euro. I'm not much like to eat at evening so-its best to have one or 2 courses of dinner at hotel. It's so so much food at hotel. You will so happy. And sea water so warm, very salty-you cannot swimming under water. We also taking boat 250Euro for 4 hours. It's was plenty viewing. I hope you enjoy the trip

Gorgeous location and lovely helpful staff.. rooms and facilities leave a bit to be desired for the price though. The apartment was a decent size for 1-2 people but lacked amenities, only 1 bottle of water and some shower gel. No tea, coffee, milk etc and limited kitchen equipment. The kitchen cupboards had a musty smell and there was no extractor in the bathroom. The outdoor areas were gorgeous including the large pool, indoor spa area needs maintenance and there was often no heat / steam in the sauna / steam room
