Grupotel Taurus Park

I had a fantastic stay at Grupotel Taurus Park in February! The hotel is spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. The breakfast options were excellent, with a wide variety of choices to start the day right. We also tried the buffet dinner, which was €20 per person, and it was definitely worth it—the selection was great and had plenty of variety. The hotel is just a short walk to the beach and within walking distance to Mercadona, as well as several small cafes and bars. Overall, it’s a wonderful hotel for a relaxing getaway, offering both comfort and convenience. Highly recommend!

We had a really disappointing experience at Taurus Park Grupotel in Palma, Mallorca. From the moment we arrived, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working — not ideal in the July heat. Despite reporting it multiple times, each time we returned, it was still broken. It honestly felt like they were stalling, knowing our stay was only three nights. After pushing hard, we were finally given access to a different room — but only for one night. They insisted we move back to the original room the next day because the air con had "been fixed," which, of course, it hadn’t. The whole situation was unnecessarily stressful and inconvenient for such a short trip. To their credit, they gave us dinner at the hotel as a gesture, which helped ease the frustration slightly. The air con was finally fixed on our last night, and we were offered a late checkout — which we appreciated. However, just when we thought things were improving, a member of hotel security entered our room while we were in the shower. They didn’t knock, didn’t speak English, and didn’t seem to understand us yelling at them to leave — completely inappropriate and very intrusive. It left us feeling extremely uncomfortable. Overall, while a few gestures helped soften the blow, the experience was not what we expected, and the lack of proper communication and basic room functionality really let the hotel down.

First of all, the advertisement should included ADULTS ONLY… Secondly, this hotel looks like a student’s house with almost hundred percent of guests drinking all day and NIGHT, disturbing the other guests including children. From 3am to 6am it’s impossible to sleep due to many guests shouting out in the corridors and knocking doors like crazy. Positive points? Some like the receptionist at the restaurant (Vanessa, friendly and polite), Maria (in the indoor swimming pool) and the guy who as preparing gnocchi ate the restaurant. I understand that it’s summer time and holidays, but we’ve been in other hotels in Mallorca and we’ve never expected some like that. PS: outdoor swimming pool with cockroaches and many pieces is plastic, completely dirty and the playground it’s a joke, just one children’s slide in a poor condition.
