Had a one week stay in this hotel. First of all hotel staff is amazing. They were very helpful in every aspect. Without knowing chinese we had a excelent comunication between us. Place is situated in ChengYang district which is not close to Qingdao city center but it is quiet and peaceful. Only problem we had was food. Not because it was spicy but it was always same types of food and few choices which made us anoid. I personally eated elsewhere knowing that we will get same food at the hotel.
The advantage of this relatively recently built accommodation is that it is close to the airport, a 10-minute drive away. However, since it is close to the airport, major tourist attractions and downtown are about an hour away. It's not like it's a hotel, but the room condition and breakfast are similar to domestic motels. It is so cheap that it is not burdensome. There is a coffee pot and bottled tea water in the room, but there is no mini refrigerator or safe. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom, so you don't need to bring a hair dryer if you plan to stay throughout the trip.
Chinese style motel.. worth it. I couldn't enjoy the night life because it was in a deserted place.
