Guanganmen Grand Metropark Hotel Beijing

Very nice hotel. Staff were nice, rooms clean, delicious breakfast. And at the restaurant I had a really delicious Beijing duck!

The hotel is comfortable, the are very clean and spacious, the problems are that reception doesn’t speak English and you don’t could pay with credit card or US Dollar luckily the bank is near and you can change. I don’t know how such big hotels don’t recruit staff that might know English. The breakfast is so so the main dishes is pork. This hotel I think doesn’t like foreigner I hope to management to read my review. Staff is polite

I've stayed here a couple of times. The staff is both friendly and helpful, if needed. The rooms are comfortable enough...large enough to move around in and the beds are firm, the linens clean and of good quality. The overall effect is a bit dated and you don't have to look too closely to see that a thorough makeover is in order. The room carpets are dingy, the lighting is dim and the paint peeling in places. If you don't need a 'perfect" place, this hotel is a good value relative to many other places in Beijing.
