Guesia Village Hotel & Spa

Amazing gem in the mountains above Foligno! The hotel is impeccable, breakfast is always interesting and unbelievably tasty, staff are always helpful, friendly and approachable (big thanks to Carlo Maria at the reception for all the advice and help with the luggage, his smile and warm professionalism made us feel at home, and to Berta and Giorgio who made sure we had everything we needed every morning at the breakfast ❤️), rooms are clean, pool is refreshing and the deck is perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the sounds of nature. Nights are not hot so a good night's rest is guaranteed, but it might get loud on the weekends when there are garden dinner parties (nothing a pair of earplugs can't solve). We will definitely be coming again!

Very nice

Terrible experience! One main reason we picked this hotel was for the air conditioning. Upon arrival at the hotel, Maurizio at the front desk barely looked up to greet us. As we stood there to check in, he left the front desk without even acknowledging our presence. Finally, we got his attention because a person in our party struck up a conversation with him in Italian. This seemed to make him a bit more friendly (even though he DID speak english!) and he checked us into our hotel apartment. After getting into our hotel apartment, we noticed the air conditioning was not functioning. This was a big problem since it was extremely hot. When we went to the front desk to speak to Maurizio, he threw a tantrum, slamming the phone and shoving it across the front desk. Maurizio's behavior was extremely unprofessional and his outburst scared my kids. He also made it extremely obvious that he did not like Americans! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you are an American!
