Cozy, affordable, beds were comfortable enough. Good value for the area when considering we would've paid double for for a hotel, given the number of people we brought. Fairly safe although about 30 blocks from the boardwalk. I think in years past maybe this area would be considered sketchy but this property was built in 2014, the same year that a r/MB Reddit post advised to avoid anything south of 8th Ave N and between Kings Hwy and the Boulevard.

Be careful about your parking. The cottages itself is decent and clean and good, but the owners including the facility management and HOA facility manager acts as if this is the only community in the whole world and does not try to understand the visitors troubles and stuff. I reached my rented place on Airbnb on Sunday evening on a 15 passenger van that would not fit inside the garage. The owner had not told me about any parking rules so we parked outside the garage parallel in front of the house I had rented. Next day we come outside, my van is missing. No one informed us or warn d us about the parking rules. The HOA manager never even called or knocked on door to let us know and we would have definitely moved. He got the van towed that we had to pay 200$ to get it out. The owner was equally unempathetic. If it was on the public road without a parking permit the vehicle can get towed, I parked on a private street and come on a week vacation and the first day had to run to the tow company beofre it closed to pick the car up. The owner was not helpful as well. So hopefully if u are coming with a large oversized vehicle make sure u pick up a parking permit before hand since the owners are not helpful and just care about their property and implementing their stupid how rules and ruin someone else's vacation.

I have stayed in two different homes here for a week each time. The homes are beautiful and a good location. The problem is what they advertise the house to have that you rent may be working or it may not. Both places I stayed the Wifi did not work. One place was not cleaned as I thought it should have been. This last trip the dishwasher did not work at all. The cable didn't work until I got it to. When you try to call the number they give you for service and complaints that's a good 30 minutes of your day and no one ever showed up to fix anything.
