A great hotel with an impressive lobby I stayed in a grand deluxe room for 2 days with my family, I've got a free lounge at 17th fl. Spacious room, Spacious bathroom with bathtub Breakfast was good, various menus.. they served local food, like Soto and Nasi Semarang, Korean food,, jamu, ice cream, fresh juice, porridge, and pudding.. The hotel nearby with many local food Soto, sate, ayam goreng, and coffee shop
The management here thinks it’s still 2008. They treat guests like they have no competition. We reached the lobby by car, and the bellboy offered no help to bring the luggage out of the car and bring it up the stairs. All they did was stare through the door in the comfort of air conditioning. Then when we finally brought the luggage up, they then offered to put it on the trolley and bring it up for us. There is also only 1 security guard checking the cars. Is there a manpower issue? Is management trying to cut costs? I requested a plate and utensils and waited 20 minutes before having to call again to ask where it was. Should I have gone down to the restaurant myself? Is this not a 5-star hotel? I would much rather stay at Hotel Tentrem or Padma Hotel. The service there is infinitely better than what I experienced within 1 day of staying here.
