Gundy Pub & Caravan Park

If you want old fashioned pub style then the Gundy Pub is it. Dan the publican is hilarious. Easy comfortable atmosphere good for a laugh. The meal's do not disappointed here.

It's off the highway, in the peaceful surrounds of nature. There is no highway noise and only the natural sounds of nature. I enjoyed the quiet peaceful drive out to the accommodation. Away from the hectic stress and gives you time to start to unwind and get ready for a restful, refreshing stay. The room that I had (single) was wonderful. Clean, fresh and well stocked. The best sleep I've had in a long time. Dan, the Manager, was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Will definitely return for a visit. Highly recommend to stop either overnight or for a few days to visit all the local areas.

I had to call the manager because the restaurant and reception were closed, so my cabin was informed to me by phone with simple instructions and no escort. The entrance to the caravan park was not easy to find. The room smelled really good, as did the sheets. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the bathroom window was impossible to close, so we were very cold during the night. The mat inside the shower and the shower water (hot water) gave off a nauseating odor, making it very unpleasant to take a shower. The water pump was running every minute all night, which made for an unpleasant night. Very expensive...
