Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa

We had a wonderful recent stay at Gurneys to celebrate my birthday. The salt sea residence was incredible with stunning oceanfront views just steps away from the beach. The service and staff were first rate all around. Jai in particular helped our family tremendously when my father unexpectedly encountered a medical dilemma - he was kind, caring and super responsive in the situation. In addition, Carlos was wonderful and went above and beyond for our family throughout our entire stay. We can’t wait to return!

We just came back from our trip and had an amazing time at Gurney’s hotel. Location is beautiful, service is great, stuff was very friendly and helpful. We had a king ocean room which was very spacious and beautiful. We had a dinner at Gigis restaurant with an excellent service and delicious food and desserts. Loved the beach, D&G decor, stylish music in the hotel, lots of nature in the hotel, and of course spa, huge indoor spa with a nice ocean view. We will definitely come back again. Two things to improve- the front desk was a little bit unorganized and needs better cleaning in the room.

You are being charged for the great location. However, not a five star hotel. We were at the complimentary coffee station at 6:45 am. Everything was already set. I very politely asked for coffee since we had our daughters with us and I explained we had been up with them at 3 am. The woman in charge answered me that she had woken up at 4:30 am. Unprofessional. People working at the front desk don’t even look at you or help you. I wanted water for the road on our way home and when I asked for it I was simply told they didn’t have it. No one made a call, no one attempted to pretend to care. Regarding the restaurant, food is delicious but extremely pricey. Lobster roll is $54 and comes with no fries. Big thank you to Elias and Mimmo, they were incredible!
