Amazing hotel and made even more amazing by the incredible staff who are so welcoming, accommodating, friendly and fun Big thanks to Charlie for looking after us in the bar and cafe, including fetching an ice pack for a sprained ankle for someone in our party. But all the staff are great and really makes this place what it is. Our beloved cocker spaniel was fussed over constantly and even got a pot of chopped up sausage from the breakfast chef

Stayed here for a wedding in June. What a wedding venue!!!!! Fabulous The lovely staff couldn’t do enough for the wedding party and all the guests who stayed in the hotel. Food was lovely, breakfast was plentiful and staff were really lovely My room was spacious, bathroom was perfect, large walk in shower, comfy bed and fan supplied as no ac but this was absolutely fine. We didn’t have a view but also we didn’t need one, (although some rooms did) we were literally only in the room To sleep and shower as when we’re weren’t being wedding guests, we went for walks along the river and around the village which was so lovely. James and his staff were great, and the location is perfect for walkers, holiday makers and families. Zip world was around the corner so we will definitely come back and stay here again as we just didn’t have time to go. Food was affordable and lovely. Drinks were also affordable considering we were in a hotel. We will definitely go back, Loved this weekend stay.

I had my wedding at the hotel. It is a stunning location in the heart of Betws. We booked out the entire hotel for the full weekend and had exceptional service. All rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect, from afternoon tea on the Friday to breakfast in my room and the wedding breakfast and buffet and all meals in-between. A gorgeous family run hotel in a stunning location and getting married there was the best decision we made.
