G&Z Urban Hotel

We stayed 7 nights here, 4 within a tour, but stayed on three nights independently. What a lovely hotel! The staff were superb, there is lovely little haven in the form of the pool, delightfully private, and the cost of drinks and food was totally within a sensible range against the outside prices. It's right in the heart of the city, 5 minutes to the main markets, Pub Street and the restaurant are but is on the opposite side of the river so a little quieter. This is a really great hotel, with some ethical attitudes to the staff (some have hearing/mute issues).

Stayed here for 6 nights. A small hotel but big in service. We felt right at home starting from pickup from airport. Staff Rachana was there to welcome us and we were treated to cold towel and and chilled water bottle on arrival. This warm young lady briefed us on what to do around Siem Reap. She was like our guardian angel through out our stay, constantly helping us with our tour bookings and tickets to the circus. This hotel also employs hearing and speech impaired staff.. kudos. Overall, the staff was most helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a decent spread, but the same throughout the 6 days. A change would have been nice. Location is fantastic.. just a 5 minute walk from the very happening Pub Street and the old market. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Will be happy to come back here to stay.

Excellent place for the price! Was about $35USD a night and includes a great breakfast buffet with western breakfast items and lots of Asian as well. The room was clean, lots of channels on the TV and the pool was great. Robes in the room and scented oils warming the hallway. They have a decent coffee bar and were very accommodating. I would stay here again for sure!
