Gîtes Domaine de la Barnerie

A superb stay as part of a privatization of the estate for a weekend with friends. The place is magnificent and very well maintained, both for the common space and for the small houses. The swimming pool is heated, and the common area has everything you need to share meals and relax (Billiards, table football, bar, reading corner and board games). The owners are very pleasant and available.

It was following an unforeseen event that we rushed to book a last-minute 15-day stay at Domaine de la Barnerie. Disappointed not to be able to stay where we had originally booked, we arrived at La Barnerie with somewhat low morale… But this disappointment was quickly forgotten upon arrival, thanks to Romain's warm welcome and good humor. All in all: a relaxing and rejuvenating stay, in the heart of a charming village, ideally located for exploring the Ardèche. A special mention for the sublime swimming pool with mountain views—a real treat! The cottage was spotlessly clean, perfectly equipped, and very comfortable. A big thank you also to Mélanie and Romain for their invaluable recommendations: walks, activities to do in the region, etc. The on-site electric bike rental is a real plus for exploring the surrounding area. Great stay in a renovated cottage. Quiet with a heated swimming pool. Excellent value for money. Possibility of renting VAEs to explore the nearby villages via the Via Ardèche. We highly recommend this accommodation.
