Gülhanepark Hotel & Spa

Oh what a great experience we had at this hotel! We stayed in 4 different hotels during our Turkey trip (Antalya, Kusadasi, Cappadocia and Istanbul) and this one was as great as the one in Cappadocia, slightly better. The rooms were exceptionally clean, tidy and beautiful. We were asked daily whether we'd like our rooms to be cleaned. Zeki was the best!!!. He was very helpful and just such a pleasure to deal with. He provided us with good advice on things to do and where/how to get around the city. The hotel was located close to many restaurants and shops, with easy access to transport and many other attractions. Gulhanepark is located right opposite the hotel. Lovely for a nice stroll in the park or a relaxing picnic. Breakfast was well presented and a good spread. Overall we had a great experience and would visit them again. Thank you Zeki and team!

Amazing location and very nice staff. The room was a little different from what mentioned in booking.com. But I think for single people, it will be amazing. Food can be rated as 3 stars.

This was part of our SCAMMED experience in this country. My friend booked this hotel and I just wanted to leave my luggage in her room and pick it up later, but the receptionist cost me 20 EUROS for just leaving my luggage there, we asked for the accordance and he just said, “the law”. I paid anyways because we were rushing through our itinerary. Later on we found out the receptionist was a relative of the hotel owner’s… The room was quite different from what we saw on Bookings, it was right next to an abandoned construction site. Please think twice before booking this hotel, there are dozens of nicer options in this neighborhood.
