H Hotel & SPA Friedrichroda

I just returned from a weekend at H+ Hotel & SPA Friedrichroda and couldn’t be happier with my stay! The room was spacious, spotless, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. I spent hours unwinding in their thermal spa—saunas, steam baths, and relaxing loungers made it the perfect escape. The breakfast buffet was incredible, with everything from fresh pastries to made-to-order eggs. Best of all, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Can’t wait to come back!

Great location for this beautiful hotel, room was good but we didn’t spend much time there. It was more the pool and spa area that caught our attention for this one. The area is great with amazing local restaurants and bars right at your convenience. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel was absolutely inflexibel to reschedule a booking due to personal circumstances, despite multiple stays. I will never book here again, no service whatsoever. Despite the reaction from the Hotel below, there was plenty of opportunity to reschedule the booking, even at a possibly higher price (although there were still rooms available at the same discounted rate). No communication, no questions were asked, just a turn down on my request to reschedule....funny how the only reaction comes when you leave a negative review. not client-friendly
