H10 Imperial Tarraco

We had the pleasure of staying at H10 Imperial Tarraco recently and were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The location was ideal for our needs, offering both convenience and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff distinguished themselves through their unwavering courtesy and attentiveness, consistently going out of their way to ensure our comfort. The rooms were tastefully appointed, offering a good level of comfort and, in some cases, attractive views of the surrounding area. We especially appreciated the breakfast, which featured high-quality ingredients and was thoughtfully prepared. In sum, this is a charming property that delivers both warmth and professionalism. Our sincere thanks to the entire team for their exceptional hospitality.

Wow! This hotel exceeded our expectations. We booked on Booking dot com and did the upgraded sea view room. Everything about the room is fantastic. Extra large bed. A cozy sitting area. Lots of closet storage, a mini fridge/bar and in room coffee service, iron and ironing board, and safe. The bathroom is also large and well fitted. We had a large patio with chairs and a table to sit and enjoy the ocean, but while we were here, the weather was windy and rainy, so we didn't really get to enjoy that. We didn't use any of the other hotel services, but staff at the desk were very pleasant. And the best part was the price... less than 500 euros for 3 nights! What a fabulous deal! The location is convenient to all of the attractions in old town as well as many restaurants, cafés, and shops.

I am extremely disappointed with H10 Imperial Tarraco. As a returning guest who had stayed here four times, I was shocked to find a very large cockroach in my room — while I was taking a shower, at my most unguarded moment. What followed only made things worse. The hotel refused to change my room until the next day, and even then, they reassigned me without asking for my consent. My request for a refund was completely ignored. Instead, they kept referring to some so-called “pest control documentation,” which does not change the fact that a cockroach was present in my room. The emotional impact of this incident has been profound. I no longer feel safe or at ease staying at any 4- or 5-star hotel. I now find myself constantly on edge, alert and anxious — an enduring psychological toll that cannot be undone. H10’s dismissive attitude, repeatedly framing my complaint as a “threat,” only deepened my disappointment. As someone who works in the service industry, I understand that for a brand to survive long-term, it must take customer concerns seriously and be willing to take responsibility. Sadly, this hotel — and the larger H10 Hotels group — has failed to do so. I am deeply disappointed and will not be returning. There are plenty of other hotels that actually care about their guests. I will continue to defend my legal rights until I receive a satisfactory resolution.
