H10 Itaca

So far is great experience although they have renovation on going and causing certain down time for air conditioning. They offered cocktail at bar area to chill out. You can also dip into the pool as well. Great location to good food and main transportation for tourists. I will recommend it if I come to Barcelona again

We stayed here twice already and we're always satisfied staying at hotels of this chain. One of the best breakfast buffets we've ever had and very friendly and funny personnel in the breakfast restaurant. Also good front desk personnel. Not in the middle of the city, but we like the Sants neighborhood and everything is super well accessible, either by foot or by metro. Two small downsides are the noisy rooms (we've had three rooms already and we always had the feeling there was a window open, while this was not the case). We also heard the noises from outside the room a little too well. Also, the swimming pool is a nice area but because of the size and the fact that sometimes they throw private parties there, it's a bit of a letdown. Other than that, definitely recommended!

There was no hot water. (Also, no food at the restaurant, only cheese and ham platters and salad). Should we had been told at check in, we might have chosen another hotel, or not, but we had a choice. But they decided to not let us know. When complained at check out they mention it was “strange nobody told” us: this is by the same girl who was checking us out and had checked us in… no apology and no compensation: total disregard for customers. Not returning and not recommending at all.
