All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Animation staff were extremely fun and joyful. All the waiting staff were so delightful especially the younger boy and the older lady with curly hair (apologies i don’t know your names) have stayed here before and would stay here again anytime and the new rooftop bar is stunning
Rooms I would say are very average, need an update especially the TV as it was very old and you couldn't plug in your iPad to keep the kids entertained with movies and shows that are English ( TV channels with Spanish/French or German bar BBC world news ). Lots of ants roaming around in the bathroom and shower leaked onto the floor. The balcony had no light working! The service was generally good, could have done with more staff on the pool bars and the usual issues with sun beds and lack of. The rather annoying life guard on the Monday with his whistle who turned off the pool side music and blew said whistle every two minutes which was the only guard to blow it all week! ( give it a rest you jobsworth they are only young kids playing, you only need to save them when they are in trouble swimming) Location wise it was close to the main strip.. and easy access to beaches.
Upon arrival at the hotel, it became immediately clear that this was not a 4-star establishment, despite being advertised as such. The accommodation was substandard and nowhere near what one would expect from a hotel rated at that level. The food provided throughout the stay was appalling—poor in both quality and variety. On top of that, the resort was clearly understaffed, which led to long waits, poor service, and a general lack of attention to guest needs. Additionally, the bars did not adhere to their stated opening and closing times, causing confusion and inconvenience on a daily basis. The condition of the room itself was unacceptable. There were ants in the room, the shower door did not close properly, and the bathroom door handle was loose and nearly falling off. The air conditioning was also not working as expected—it barely functioned and certainly did not keep the room cool, making it very uncomfortable, especially at night. Housekeeping was inconsistent and below standard. Dust visibly built up throughout the week, and clean towels were not provided properly or regularly when changed. This experience has left me not only angry but extremely let down by a company I had previously trusted. I expect a full investigation into these issues and a prompt and appropriate response regarding compensation for this wholly unsatisfactory experience.
