An amazing hotel with top service from all the staff. Helpful, kind, and great at their jobs. The hotel itself is centrally located in the heart of Rome, with quick walks to all the major locations such as The Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. The check in, front desk, and doorman are true professionals. I would stay here again and recommend others give them a shot while staying in Rome.
Love this hotel! Great location. 5 min walk to Trevi, close to Pantheon, Spanish Steps and 15 min walk to Colosseum and Forum. We stayed in a suite with breakfast included. The breakfast is a full breakfast (eggs, pancakes/ waffles/ fresh toast/ pastries/ salmon/ cold meats and cheeses/ fruits etc). A perfect way to fill up before your day starts. The entire staff is customer oriented, making sure your stay is perfect. Mini fridge in room, small coffee maker, turn down service, AC that keeps your cool- with thermostat in your room. The bathroom and shower are a good size; plush towels, robes, and a full size hair dryer. Highly recommend and would stay here again!
We recently stayed here during a 3-day trip to Rome, and our experience at H10 was mixed. The good....the staff were (mostly) kind and helpful throughout our stay, with the exception of a few snarky workers at the bar & restaurant. We booked a large 2-room suite with a balcony which was lovely, spacious, stocked with nice amenities, and the beds were comfortable. The location of this hotel is also nice and within an easy walking distance to many attractions. The not-so-good....the food at the restaurant was absolutely disgusting, overpriced, and flat out inedible. We paid $100 for breakfast for three, and the scrambled eggs were watery and they tried to pass off a hot dog as breakfast sausage. Nowhere else in our European travels did we encounter this. It was positively repulsive. Equally as repugnant was the smell in the hotel. I'm not sure if they were cleaning carpets or what was going on, but there was an absolutely overwhelmingly nauseating smell of carpet powder that made us sick. We paid over $700/night to stay here and having paid the same amount the week prior at The Cotton House in Barcelona - THAT was a FAR better value for the money, and the hotel was significantly nicer, too. Based on our entire experience, we likely wouldn't stay at the Palazzo Galla again.
