H10 Playa Meloneras Horizons Collection

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming—exactly what we were looking for. The food was excellent throughout our stay. There was plenty of variety, everything was fresh, and the quality consistently impressed us. The hotel also offered a great selection of alcohol, including recognizable name brands, which was a nice touch and made drinks by the pool or at dinner feel a bit more special. Speaking of the pool, there were always sun beds available, no matter the time of day. This made it easy to unwind without the usual scramble to "reserve" a spot early in the morning. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with a smile, which added to the overall relaxed vibe. That said, there were a couple of minor disappointments. The spa area felt a bit outdated, we noticed that some pool tiles were coming loose, which could use some attention. Additionally, one evening was advertised as an Abba tribute night, but unfortunately, it didn’t deliver on that promise. It seemed like a mix-up or miscommunication, which left a few guests a bit underwhelmed. Overall, these were small issues in what was otherwise a lovely and laid-back holiday. I’d happily return and recommend the hotel to others!! ❤️🥂☀️

Fabulous complex, great pools and gardens. No sunbed wars here. Dinning room has a fantastic layout, lovely, helpful & friendly staff. We found we had a fault with the patio door of the room and that was permanently repaired within 2 hours. We will highly recommend this hotel and hopefully we will be able to come back too.

In summary we had a great time, reception was friendly and helpful, rooms looked recently refurbished and were clean with plenty of storage space, the buffet food was varied and tasty and staff were polite and helpful. Infinity pool was our pool of choice and was really quiet and restful and although out of town, it was a really nice 15 min walk along the coast to the shops and restaurants. It's a great hotel....... So why mark it down, it's the little things....... the area was hit badly by Covid and the beach front amenities were run down or vacant, nothing the hotel can do about that, hopefully it will recover in time. As far as the hotel goes, bearing in mind it's sold as a 5*, you couldn't get a "snack" when you wanted one, the only pay restaurant alternative to the buffet was an Italian but not hugely impressive, they didnt replenish the bathroom "bits" or provide free water daily. As I say, it's just the little things......... All in all we enjoyed ourselves and will probably go back in a few years.
