Hacienda Don Armando Boutique & Spa

This property has true 5 star potential The good: The hotel is architecturally wonderful. The place is clean. The beds are comfortable. There is Netflix and hbo. Hot water is endless in the shower. The staff is very personable. Seems to be a family business. Armando Jr has a really cool accent. The bad: The location is far from city center. If you like a brisk walk it won’t be a problem but there are many options closer. The food is expensive for what it is and you can do much better in town for the money. When I checked in they told me that the hot tub is usually on and that night was the only night that it would be off. I stayed for 4 days 3 nights. This statement was not the truth, the hot tub was never on. They sold me a double room for added cost when the hotel seemed to be at 10% capacity. I could be wrong but I do not think I am due to 90% of the curtains being open and tied back in the rooms durning my stay. My final breakfast eaten there resulted in 4 hours of puking. When puking was finish I was no longer sick, pointing to food poisoning. I wish these people success, but hope they revise their practices. I feel bad leaving this review as a business owner, but in this situation my loyalty is to the consumer. Best wishes.

This was a beautiful piece of real estate but on the outskirts of Creel inconveniently located for easy access to Creel Centro, local tours and the Chepe station. Staffed by very young people that weren't well trained or managed to deal with guests expectations. Nobody on the property looked over 20 years old. The dining room menu was not available due to a new chef and when presented with the bill for dinner it was shocking. This could be a great place with proper management. I would not Stat here again.

Awful service… we stayed 2 nights and both nights they were too busy to serve us on the restaurant or at the pool… they had events and they couldnt service everyone so they prioritized the event they had… biggest problem is that they didnt communicate very well… we also asked for laundry service and because they were too busy, they couldnt do anything for us either… They really didnt care. Horrible servicio, 2 noches y las 2 noches tenian un evento y nos dijeron que no nos podian servir en el restaurante… preguntamos por servicio de la lavanderia y que porque estaban muy ocupados no podian darnos servicio tampoco… no les importo… horrible
