Amazing place. We loved our stay and the venue for the wedding was beyond beautiful. The staff was very attentive and the grounds were immaculate.
I just spent an unforgettable week at this incredible hotel, and I can’t wait to return. This place has everything I could dream of: stunning nature that’s so well cared for, a rich history….the building dates back to 1521!and uniquely decorated rooms that make every stay feel fresh and exciting. The master suites? Absolutely jaw-dropping, you have to see the pictures to believe it. The food was another highlight. Every dish is bursting with authentic Mexican flavors, perfectly balanced so you feel satisfied yet healthy. And the people 😍 They’re what made my stay so special. The staff are warm, humble, and full of fascinating stories about the history and culture, they really bring the experience to life. There’s so much to do… or not!! But if you like you can swim, running, horseback riding, tenis, or just walking and taking in the beauty. Whether you come alone, with family, or even for a quiet work retreat, this place has something for everyone. Oh, and don’t miss the temazcal and spa, they’re the ultimate way to unwind. Only two hours from Mexico City, this is more than just a hotel….it’s an experience I’ll treasure forever. Trust me, you’ll fall in love too.
I was just there for a wedding. Upon arrival, rooms were supposed to be ready for 3pm. We had a rehearsal dinner that night (I was a bridesmaid) and our room was not ready until 5:30, I had to shower and get ready in the bride and grooms room. During the event that was supposed to be open bar, they opened their own bar at the venue and charged guests for drinks (including myself) when all the alcohol and catering was already taken care of. Many guests purchased drinks as they set up their bar at the main entrance. Overall, service was not up to par for the prices of the rooms.
