Despite other comments stating that the hotel was in need of refurbishing, we enjoyed the historical grandeur of a hacienda a lot. The rooms were tidy and had all the comfort our family needed when preparing to visit the chichen itza. The staff were very friendly. We would absolutely recommend it.
We had a wonderful time at the Hacienda San Miguel enjoying the walking track, wonderful service from Melissa and crew as well as breakfast the day of our departure. This property is 3 stars so manage your expectations in that way. Comfortable, clean rooms and bed with beautiful surrounds. We had a great time and would come again.
We been to hacienda San Miguel for Christmas and once arrived we found a place totally different from the one seen on their website. The place is under a sort of renovation and totally different from ours expectations. Rooms are old with dirty pillows and the beds are really old and stinky. The price they ask is totally unjustified.
