If you are ever in or near Patzcuaro i highly recommwnd you stay hear even if its for a couple of nights. The service is great, the views of lake and Island of Janitzio are phenomenal. The pool is heated during cold season and the food was also terrific!
The location is really nice. We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed our time here. The service at the restaurant was good but had to ask our server multiple times for the same thing. The food was okay but nothing impressive considering prices for Mexico are above average for what you get. So you are really paying for the view.
Do not depend on these accommodations as they may not honor your registration and try to charge you more before or during check in. They sent an email and tried to get us for more money (5x more than the published rate that we booked) several days after booking and then canceled on us when we didn’t agree to accept the new rate. This was after we had already booked rental car, flight etc. - the rate they were trying to charge was over one thousand dollars per night which is well above what you see their published rates are.
