Spent two nights here and what an amazing time! Harry and Steyn are amazing hosts with cooking skills to match! Absolutely loved everything, from the food to the setting! Definitely can recommend and will definitely be going back!

Unique and terrific value for money. You’d have to pay R6k+ for a far lower level of service and relaxation at most SA hotels. Harry and Steyn do nearly everything themselves, which gives the place the feel of a luxe boutique country lodge run by your secretly badass cosmopolitan uncles. Some of the coolest modernist furnishings I’ve seen in South Africa, great nearby fynbos hikes and restaurants, calm and privacy, and truly unusual breakfasts. Come here for South African landscapes, Danish design, Dutch precision, French polish, Italian warmth, and distinctly Northern California vibes without the irritating northern Californians.
