A brilliant day out for all the family. The children's play area is top class for all ages. There is a brilliant small gauge railway that you can ride around the park. The municipal golf course is sensibly priced. Food and drink to suit all taste. There a sweet shop and a farm shop.
We went for a day out with the family at Christmas. We were there with the whole family from little kids to older grandparents. The parking is expensive but then there are no other charges for entry. The cafe is basic but had good staff who were very helpful. We walked as much as we could but the paths were so muddy the pram struggled. The kids wanted to see the pigs but they must have been away for winter. Good day out with nice views.
Will be better when the work is completed. It's a bit easy to get lost in the woodland, but the scenery is beautiful. The small train is a cute idea especially if you have a child. However the car park is more expensive than it said on Google. Please not that if you go it's only £1.50 for the first 90 minutes. It's £3 after that.
