Haikou Marriott Hotel

It’s my favorite hotel in hainan! Out of all the Marriotts I’ve stayed here and there, Haikou Marriott is the best and the one I’d love to come back again. Service is outstanding, from front desk to staff in the restaurant/ pool they always greet you and ensure your requests are handled immediately. Esp 小國from front desk and Jo Jo from restaurant are really impressive and made my family feel very welcomed. Thank you! Room/ balcony are spacious and nicely designed. Beds and pillows are comfy. They’ve got huge swimming pools and natural spring which is a good added value. It’s a bit far from city center but if you just wanna relax and enjoy the beach it’s a great value. Definitely will come back.

The location is great especially if you're attending the famous Fair. Nevertheless, it's a great location with a safe area for walking by the beach. The rooms are nice and the design is clearly tropical.

Very friendly staff. The whole place just feels unnecessarily massive and empty. As it's linked to a huge convention centre it lacks any kind of atmosphere. Beach is also hard to reach across and road and very industrial. Lounge had very average stale food. Breakfast was fine but again nothing at all special. Also very isolated with nothing around it except the massive exhibition centre attached
