Halong Plaza Hotel

Beautiful location in Halong Bay . One can see the sea from the room. Also we could see the ropeway running between the nearby island and the mainland from the room. The international marine terminal is just a few minutes away. Rooms are spacious and excellent with all amenities like hot tub, electric kettle, tea/coffee etc. There are swimming pool, spa, Gym and many facilities. There is conference facility available with a big conference hall. Workers are very cooperative and nice . Food in the restaurant as well as in buffet breakfast are very tasty and good. We had an enjoyable stay.

Extremely comfortable, modern-if-not-new hotel conveniently located near the piers for Ha Long Bay tours with a beautiful view of the island across the way. Cash & credit cards accepted. On-site restaurant and bar. Some of the staff speaks some English. Rooms are large, though some of the space could be better utilized. Black-out curtains. Firm but comfortable bed with adequate linens and pillows. Additional comfortable chairs to sit in. A desk area and chair with electrical outlet for work use. Wi-fi seems adequate to business audio/video streaming and probably gaming. Plenty of electrical outlets throughout the room. They provide tea & coffee and a hot pot as well as two small bottles of drinking water. There are additional items (chips, bottles of liquor, etc.) but those will be charged to you if you open them. TV has mostly local channels. Closet has hangars, slippers and a robe. There's an in-room safe in a cabinet as well as a mini-fridge. The bathroom is roomy with a shower and tub. Basic toiletries provided. Good hot water. Toilet paper as well as butt-gun. You'll be very comfortable here!

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. The lady playing music was beautiful and charming. However, the room smelled terrible. I did not find the power switch to turn off the lights. It was hard to sleep with lights on and terrible smell. The blanket and pillows were damp and dirty. I felt like they were not washed and dried after guess used them.
