I stayed for two days and overall, the atmosphere was wonderful. We had breakfast and dinner on both days—while the food was generally enjoyable, there were some inconsistencies. I was quite satisfied with the signature sashimi boat course, which was a highlight. However, the beef course on the following day was somewhat disappointing. Some dishes were excellent, while others fell short, resulting in noticeable variation in quality. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Although their English was not perfect, they communicated effectively and made a genuine effort to assist us throughout our stay. One issue I encountered, as also mentioned in other reviews, was the behavior of some guests. Many of the visitors appeared to be from a particular country, and while most followed the rules and were respectful, there were instances where a few did not. For example, I witnessed someone filming in the public open-air bath and others swimming while wearing yukata, which goes against the etiquette. These situations detracted from the otherwise peaceful and relaxing environment. This property clearly aims to offer a high-quality stay, and the price reflects that. However, the behavior of fellow guests can significantly impact one’s overall impression. Personally, I value autonomy and freedom, but I also believe that fair enforcement of rules is essential when those boundaries are not respected. If such disturbances persist, I might reconsider staying here again in the future. I sincerely hope the management will continue working to maintain the peaceful and high-standard atmosphere they are striving to offer.

Beautiful hotel right on the ocean. They have private onsen rooms that you can use on a first-come-first-serve basis. The private onsen room we used was out in the open and had a great view of the ocean. Our room also had an open air bath and shower. We had Japanese breakfast and that was quite good. The only negative was the staff were a bit rude and not trained well up to the usual Japanese standards. Maybe they’re overwhelmed by all of the foreign tourists but either way they could improve in that department.

This is definitely my worst hot spring hotel experience in Japan. Me and my girlfriend have totally spent 2hours sitting in the rest area waiting for the private hot spring room key. Normally everyone should queue here to take the key and return after use. I started waiting for both of the room keys at 1710, and since i still haven’t seen any keys back at 1815, I went to the reception and asked the staff for checking the private hot spring condition but the only answer I got is there is no time limit for using the private hot spring so please wait patiently at the rest area. When time came to 1830, people coming from the hot spring said that some Chinese Mainlanders just wait outside the private hot spring room and grab the key from others. Thats why we and others who follow the rules just wasted more than one hour waiting for the key. Even we complained to the staff, they said they can only wait those Mainlanders finish using and give us the key. Finally, we got the key at 1910, wasting 2hours waiting for the key which will never come back. I have gave my opinion to the staff such as putting the key back to the reception or doing reservations for the private hot spring but seems they wont listen. Those who decide to use the private hot spring should find the staff immediately if you haven’t seen any keys back after 1 hour waiting. Many Mainlanders live in this hotel and they wont follow the rules.
