We stopped to have a look at Milton Abbas and had a drink at the Hambro Arms. The Landlord was very welcoming.
We stopped here for lunch on our way to Swanage. We enjoyed a ploughman's lunch (my daughter's) and a Greek salad for me. Both were well presented and delicious. Service was good too. However, the icing on the cake for me was bumping into someone that I had been at school with a very long time ago. It's a shame that our lovely school is now closed. The reminiscence of schooldays so long ago was a great experience.
Tried it twice for lunch, both time we didn’t feel welcome at all. Food is ok but the atmosphere is completely off. We will never go again, which is a shame as we just move in the area and it’s the closest pub to us. Lovely location but definitely not the pub to go to sadly.
