My husband and I recently stayed in Hamilton Hotel for the first time, and can report a warm, welcoming, comfortable stay. The staff was warm, welcoming, helpful, and always at the ready to lend a hand, as needed. The location is near to many Metro stations, restaurants, bus stops, etc. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfy, with ample closet space and storage drawers for our things. Their restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food is good and the service professional. We hope to enjoy a future stay to enjoy Washington, DC, and to visit local family and friends. THANKS to ALL!

Location is amazing! Walk out and explore in every direction. You get the full DC experience right out the door- restaurants, nightlife, parks, history. Room needs updating but it’s not uncomfortable. No microwave, no bathroom fan, shower head sprays everywhere Check-in was very quick. Needed extra towels and staff brought them quickly. I would stay here again due to location alone but the rooms could use a nice upgrade.

Extremely disappointed and frustrated with the hotel’s lost and found service. I left a cardigan in the wardrobe when I checked out last Sunday. I realized it just a few hours later and returned to the hotel immediately to retrieve it. Since it had only been a short time, no other guests had been checked into the room. The room had already been cleaned, but the cardigan had disappeared. It was obvious that the item went missing during the cleaning process. I asked the staff to check, but they said it was not found in the lost and found. They promised to speak with the staff who cleaned the room and contact me. It has now been a full week and I have received no response at all. I checked my luggage thoroughly and confirmed the cardigan was not there. I wore it on the first day of my stay and left it in the hotel room. I did not wear it again during the trip. I clearly told the staff that it was an important item, and I provided my contact information directly at the hotel. I also submitted a message through the hotel website, contacted them through the booking agent, and even shared the exact size and color of the cardigan. Still, I have heard nothing. If a guest cannot recover a simple piece of clothing just hours after checking out, I seriously question the reliability and integrity of this hotel. This has been an incredibly disappointing experience. I do not feel that guests or their belongings are treated with care. The location was convenient and the facilities were decent, but the fact that even a basic service like this could not be provided was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with a negative impression of the hotel, and it will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
