Hamilton Lonsdale Motel

After a rainy/windy weekend destroyed our camp site in robe we managed to book this motel on the way back to Melbourne for the night. The man at reception (so sorry didn’t get his name) was lovely and welcoming. As it was the last room available he notified us on the phone that the aircon wasn’t working and made sure we were okay with this prior to booking. It was a cold night so didn’t bother us. He placed a heater and high speed fan in the room for our stay. The beds were the most comfortable bed we have slept on (even better than a hotel in Adelaide) and the bathroom was recently renovated and the whole room very clean and comfortable. Thank you for having us!

Friendly staff & Lovely checkin experience.. close to everything, super clean and decent size room with all the amenities required for an overnight or weekend stay. The room is nicer than the pics. Highly recommended

I had to cancel my stay at this hotel due to a sudden family medical emergency. I reached out more than 24 hours in advance, hoping for at least a credit or some flexibility, especially since the booking had only been made a few days prior. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to offer any accommodation whatsoever—not even a credit for a future stay. Their response was cold and unsympathetic, strictly hiding behind policy with no regard for genuine human circumstances. It's incredibly disappointing to see such a lack of compassion and customer care. I won’t be booking with them again.
