Hamiltonhouse

Nice base for a short break in Bruges. Very centrally located, and very close to the No.2 bus route (useful if you are dropping your car off in one of the Park and Ride car parks). The kitchen and house were well equipped for short breaks. The ground floor has a living room and kitchen, the first floor has bedroom with a large double bed, and in a short corridor off the room is a sink, the shower and a washing machine (don't start it at night - it is not the quietest :-) ). On the second floor is a skylight bedroom with two single beds. The shower situation was a little unusual, but is easily accommodated in a family or with good friends. Basically, since the shower is a walk-in off the corridor from the main bedroom, we just vacated the bedroom anytime somebody wanted a shower. It was quite hot when we stayed there and whilst the downstairs and the first floor bedroom stayed very cool, the attic room got quite hot. It would have helped if we has left the attic window open I think (keeping the attached bug screen closed of course), and the room does have a large fan.The house is a comfortable base for four people and we enjoyed our time there.
