Spacious rooms, good condition inside, strange location of toilet and bathroom, good hygiene from room service. Good attitude from staff, especially if you leave tips. That's how they are taught. Good food, but with minor remarks. They impose restrictions on some foods. Small tricks in all-inclusive. Small cups or lack of them. On the beach - The free zone is miserable. The paid Mamaia Beach looks much better. Brazen and arrogant behavior from the man pouring drinks on the beach Good animation 10 minutes from the beach. There is organized transportation, but I don't know how this car got the right to drive on the streets.
Family holiday end of May. Staff are really friendly and helpful, food was good and lots of options, not too many if vegan. Breakfast was basic but lunch and dinner, plenty of options. Although we enjoyed as relaxing holiday and quiet, as it was May, only one indoor bar was open, until last day when they opened outside bar, air con was not working, and door to bathroom and balcony needed repairs. Beach sunbeds and bar was not ready. Slides and rooms need updating. it is a 5min walk to beach and easy to get taxi into old or new town. 3 star rating based on hotel and facilities, staff are 5 star plus. good for relaxing and value for money.
Just got back from my holiday yesterday. I have to say I’m so very disappointed with thr resort. The pictures do not match the hotel at all. This hotel is a 2 star at best maybe some days can push to 3. My room was always clean and no issues at all. Just zero wifi connection at all. Unless you go to balcony and you might get lucky or bar downstairs. The pool was a nice place to relax. No issues. Kids pool perfect and so was the slides pool. The animation team work hard to entertain the guests. They were kind and helpful. The reception staff is soooo incredibly rude. Apart from Sonia the manager I believe she is lovely. The dinner hall. Firstly the food was awful. Nothing to cater to British palate apart from pizza every day and chips. But also they ration food. If you can’t speak French or Arabic they automatically give you a small portion it the Tunisian in front or behind me they get heeps of food on their plate. No one, like no one speaks English. It’s so frustrating that you have to mime and play charades everytime you need something. The waiters work so hard 2 in particular Omar and ayaan albeit don’t speak English still understood and always made me feel welcome. The beach is awful but right next to the hotel all inclusive section is the ‘private’ section that you can pay to hire where it’s better so that’s tactics. Jellyfish infested in the sea so be careful. The spa was amazing. The Hammam was amazing. Khadija was incredible especially with my daughter while I was getting my massage. Amazing ladies in the spa and well worth the money. I absolutely wont be coming back to this hotel.
